Bull Valley Takes Golden Loom Listed Handicap

Ever consistent Bush Hill sire Toreador saw his Gr3 winning son Bull Valley, take the accolades in the Golden Loom Listed Handicap over 1000m.

Jumping from a draw of 13 under S’manga Khumalo and Merit Rated 103, the four year old gelding notched up his fourth career win from just six starts (including a win previously in the Gr3 Man O’ War Sprint), defeating Tar Heel (Var) and Africa Rising (Trippi) in the process.

A R180 000 National Yearling Sales graduate who has doubled his sales price in stakes, he is owned by PCS (Pty) Ltd (Nom: Mr P Botha) & Messrs G L Blank, Z L Nassif, G Nichas & J Sarkis and trained by national champion trainer, Sean Tarry.

Bully Valley is out of Saumerez mare, Star Of Liberty, herself a Gr3 Umzimkhulu Stakes winner. This is the immediate damline of sire Model Man.

Bush Hill Stud's Toreador, the best performed son of his famous sire Danehill to stand his career at stud in South Africa, Toreador presents excellent value for money for breeders as his progeny are always enthusiastically recieved a sales, and they frequent the winning enclosures regularly for their owners.

Toreador stood for a fee of R20 000 this season.
