Another Impressive Debut Winner For Curved Ball

Seerite opened the batting at Turffontein with an impressive debut win for the son of Curved Ball. Going off at odds of 20/1 for Robbie Sage and jockey Gunter Wrogemann, Seerite won by two and half lengths from Johan Janse Van Vuurens imported Hard Ball.

Owned by Mr KB Wilson, Seerite is a half-brother to 3-time winner Sea Urchin. His dam is Damascus Charmer, a daughter of Damascus Gate from the female line of Durban July winner King Willow, Salmon Pink and Charming Harry amongst others.

Curved Ball has had several impressive winners recently, including the unbeaten colt Hard To Play who has won over 1200m at both Greyville and Scottsville as well as Mayfair Speculators strapping colt, Bad Attitude, for trainer Dennis Drier.

Congratulations to all concerned.
