Tetelestai and Qahal's Applause made it a double for Bush Hill Stud again on Saturday.
Tetelestai, a Black-Type son of Bezrin out of Count The Carats by What A Prospect, won the All To Come Pinnacle Stakes by almost a length from Krackerjack Ace and Mr Mickey Mouse. Tetelestai, a previous winner of the Umgeni Handicap Listed and two other Listed races, has now won 10 races and placing 13 times. Tetelestai is owned by Mr D S Braithwaite & Miss Y Oki, and trained by Garth Puller. Carrying top weight of the fields of 61kgs under Lerato Mohapi, second placed Krackerjack Ace was carring a mere 53kgs.

Qahal's Applause, a bay filly by Kahal
out of Johnson's Encore(AUS) by Dr Johnson, won the last race for trainer Duncan Howells by almost three lengths from Lady Bianca. Ridden by Alec Forbes, Qahal's Applause won over 1800m, owned by Mr R & Mrs E M Pennells the filly is now a winner and placed twice from just five starts. A two-year old by A.P. Arrow out of Johnson's Encore has just entered pre-training.
On 10 December, Bush Hill Stud had a win with Silly Mid-On, by London News out of Tip And Run by Velazquez(USA). The four year old gelding won by four lengths over 1600m. Silly Mid-On has now won twice and placed three times for owners Mr A B Lansdell, Dr S C Davis and Mr and Mrs M J Roetz and trainer Vernon Rugg.
continues to do Bush Hill Stud proud, having had yet another international winner with Real General(NZ) winning the Hong Kong Jockey Club Wong Shek Handicap over 1600m, and King Prawn(NZ) placing in New Zealand over 1600m in the Game On Handicap.
