Impressive Debut For Over It

Bush Hill-bred Over It impressed on debut at the Vaal on the weekend, going off at odds of 55/1 to win by almost half a length from Eternal Fire over 1200m.

Ridden by Ryan Munger and trained by Craig Mayhew, Over It is a three year old daughter of Overlord out of Kahal mare, Edge Of Reason. The mare has produced a previous winner by Mogok named Diamond Cut, and the female line of Evening Mist and Ingleside.

Edge Of Reason is out of a Fine Edge/Sledghammer mare Lady Edge, herself a half-sister to Gr3 Caradoc Gold Cup winner Silver Series. She has a yearling by Sarge named Certifiable coming through.

Former resident sire Kahal is lying on the National Sires Log in second position, with 32% runners to winners.

Congratulations to all concerned.
