12th Win For Tetelestai

Dual Umngeni Handicap Listed winner, Bush Hill-bred Tetelestai, took home his 12th win at the Fairview Polytrack on Friday.

The son of Bezrin out of Count The Carats by What A Prospect won comfortably by over a length from November Rain (Greys Inn), Blackmalkin (Black Minnaloushe) and Yoshie (Antonius Pius). Ridden by Muzi Yeni, the seven year old gelding has placed in his last eight starts - with a total of 20 times including the recent East Cape Sprint Cup (Listed).

Tetelestai has a half-brother by King's Chapel being presented for sale, bred and consigned by ourselves, at this weekends National Yearling Sale, a strong bay colt named Oracle Kingdom. He sells as Lot 240 on Sunday 27th April.

This is the first crop of Kings Chapel being sold at Nationals. It is a pedigree that has already proven a nick with King Of Kings - his half-brother Honour Melchizedek (by King Of Kings) has won and placed four times.

Tetelestai is trained by Jacques Strydome and owned by syndicate Messrs W S Kruger (Snr), W S Kruger (Jnr), J V A Strydom, F G van Onselen, S R Potgieter, Money Talks Syndicate (Nom: Mr J V A Strydom) & Mrs J Britz.

Congratulations to all concerned.
