Impressive Polytrack Win For Gemini Gold

Gemini Gold winning at Greyville. Image: Gold Circle

Gemini Gold, bred and raised at Bush Hill Stud for breeder owner Mr H C N Da Costa, notched up his second win impressively over 1200m on the Greyville Polytrack.

His second win on the trot, the son of Overlord out of Sheer Brilliance by Kahal, has now also placed four times - only being out of the money once.

Trained by Dennis Bosch, another part owner along with Messrs M de Lange & H C N da Costa, Gemini Gold previously won by over three lengths at Clairwood under jockey S'manga Khumalo.

His most recent win saw him defeating the useful Al Ciberano, Harry Peppa and Quintella. Going off at 33/10 and carrying top weight of the field of 60kgs, Gemini Gold gave the second horse 1.5kgs, and Harry Peppa a 5kg beating.

Gemini Gold is a half-brother to two winners, Dux and Handsome Hudson.

Congratulations to the winning connections.
