Bush Hill Stud will be watching the Gr1 Premier's Champion Stakes with a lot of excitement as three horses representing Toreador and King's Chapel line up in the race on Saturday.

The three juvenile horses will turn three on Saturday, including the speedy Toreador's Prospect Strike and Rikitikitana make the start with King's Chapel's Gr3 performing Malak El Moolook jumping from draw 10 for trainer Sean Tarry, the trainer of Rikitikitana.

Prospect Strike, a three parts brother to sire Way West won his debut by almost 13 lengths from Seal My Fate for Dominic Zaki and has since followed up with a place in the Gr1 Tsogo Sun Gold Medallion and a win next time out by five lengths from all three of his starts, of which all three have been at different tracks. This will be his first Greyville start and he will jump from 14th stall.

Rikitikitana is owned by Dr K G Bakos & Mr G M Bakos & Mr Clyde Basel, and placed just over a length off Cutting Edge in the KZN Yearling Sale Million run on Vodacom Durban July day. The colt has had three starts and placed twice to date. He jumps on Saturday from a 13th draw.

The beautiful chestnut son of King's Chapel, Sean Tarry-trained Malak El Moolook will be looking to secure some Bold Black Type on Saturday for owners Messrs B Riley & R Hanna. Born and raised at Bush Hill Stud, Malak El Moolook has now won twice and placed three times from just seven starts. Out of Lee Danzig, he is also a half-sibling to three horses - Reign Victorious, Reign As Kings and Millenium Reign, all three by King Of Kings, the sire of King's Chapel.

Since the 16th of July, King's Chapel has had two winners in both South Africa and New Zealand with Premier Queen and Metal Worker and three places. Toreador has achieved seven wins this month alone with 11 places, including Mauritius and Zimbabwe.

King's Chapel and Toreador will be on show on Sunday at Bush Hill Stud's Stallion Day, along with Curved Ball, Irish Flame and Redoute's Promise. Curved Ball's first yearlings have been sale with two colts making the news - the first sold at the CTS Cape Premier Sale for R350 000 earlier in the year, and the second colt selling for R230 000 at the Suncoast KZN Yearling Sale. Irish Flame's first crop are yearlings and Redoute's Promise is expecting his first foal crop this season.
